Canvara ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed and operated by Honest Dev LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
If you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or Apple's private relay address). This is stored locally on your device and is used solely to identify your account.
1.2 Style Preferences
When you set up Canvara, you select your preferred wallpaper categories and aesthetic styles (e.g., minimalist, vibrant, dark, pastel). This data is stored locally on your device and is used to personalize your wallpaper recommendations.
1.3 Photo Library Access
Canvara requests access to your photo library solely to save wallpapers that you choose to download. We do not read, scan, or upload any photos from your library. Access is only used for the "Save to Photos" feature when you explicitly tap save on a wallpaper.
1.4 Favorites & Usage Data
Your favorited wallpapers, browsing preferences, and app usage data are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to any server.
1.5 User Preferences
Your app preferences (notification settings, widget configuration, display preferences) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Wallpaper recommendations: To show you wallpapers that match your selected aesthetic preferences.
- Favorites: To maintain your personal collection of saved wallpapers.
- Notifications: To send local notifications when new collections are available in your preferred categories.
- Widgets: To display trending wallpapers on your home screen.
- Photo library: To save wallpapers you choose to download to your device.
- Subscription management: To verify your subscription status via RevenueCat (see Section 4).
3. How We Store Your Data
All your data is stored locally on your device. Canvara does not operate any backend servers or cloud databases for user data. Your preferences, favorites, and browsing history are saved to your device's local storage using standard iOS file storage and UserDefaults.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.

Canvara does not use any AI APIs, analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or data brokers. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party.
5. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Canvara offers auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Weekly: $2.99/week
- Monthly: $4.99/month
- Annual: $34.99/year
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
6. Data Security
Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device encryption, app sandboxing, and Keychain for sensitive credentials. Since all personal data is stored locally, there is no network transmission of your personal data.
7. Your Rights
- Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times.
- Deletion: Delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
- Revoke Sign in with Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple.
8. Children's Privacy
Canvara is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
